SHORT-FORM WOMEN OWNED BUSINESSES PITCH
This project includes four short-form interview videos filmed in Arthur, Ontario, created as part of a pitch for a proposed marketing company start-up. Designed specifically for Instagram Reels and TikTok, the videos aimed to demonstrate how authentic, story-driven content could spotlight women-owned businesses while building trust, visibility, and community connection.

My Role
Filmmaker & Editor
(Interviewer, camera operator, and post-production)
I led the project from concept through delivery, handling on-location filming, conducting interviews, operating my own DJI Mini 4 Pro for aerial establishing shots, and editing each video for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
Process & Approach
Each interview was filmed in a conversational, documentary style, centering the voices and experiences of the business owners. I focused on creating a comfortable environment, asking open-ended questions, and capturing visuals that reflected both the businesses and the surrounding community.
In post-production, I edited each piece with platform-specific pacing, captions, and structure in mind, ensuring the videos felt engaging, accessible, and native to Instagram Reels and TikTok.
